What Is P.E.O.

Founded in 1869 by seven women who wanted their friendship to endure, P.E.O. has grown into one of North America's oldest women’s organizations, with chapters throughout the United States and Canada. While the organization has evolved over time, its founding spirit remains the same: women supporting women through friendship, education, and service.

P.E.O. is more than a social group. It is a sisterhood built on friendship, service, and a shared commitment to supporting women through education.
